Good-bye, chair and desk; hello, bike and road!
There’s a lot out there to see and learn. I don’t know whether my sixty-year-old knees will cooperate with the bicycling idea, but if not, there are plenty of other ways to travel.
I don’t plan to flit at high speed from one tourist trap to the next, however. I’d like to stay in one place long enough to learn the language and do some good, not necessarily in that order. And maybe longer.
Mark Lowry said, “I don’t know what I’m thinkin’ until I hear myself say it!” And I may not know where I’m going till I get there (John 3:8?). I have some plans, but mostly, I’ll be the antsy friend who’s blowin’ in the wind.
